I have seen allot of you guys are concerned about the batteries. Use eneloop, they are the best the strongest and rechargeable 1000 times. They are excpencive but are worth it! Nice unboxing!

I really want to buy this camera and start to produce content for my channel. I see your point about the instruction manual being annoying on CD, but it's probably better putting the files on a CD rather than printing out millions of those little books which would obviously use alot of paper. Only concerns are importing AVI into iMovie. Good Video. Camera is $699 in Australia.

You nailed it. The most notorious line of cameras that play the bp game are the hybrids. I can understand proprietary batteries for the ultra slim point & shoots. But, for any medium size P&S up, no excuse for not using AA.

Hi, and greatings, im planing to buy this camera, i heard that this camera consumes the bateries a lot. what do you think of it so far? thanks.

Just bought one in black. What has your experience been like so far? Any problems I should be wary of? Thanks.

i don't get why some people bitch about not having a proprietary battery pack. like they ENJOY spending $40 on 1 extra bp so they won't get stuck somewhere without power. AA's are available everywhere and cheaper than the battery packs, which are a bit of an uncertainty and rip off anyways. but people just dont get it. if 12 extra AA's are too much to carry around in one's backpack or whatever, start excercising. pentax is an innovator with careful thought in camera design.
