I trust manfrotto for good tripod,monopod, ect but I don't trust them with lights. I think I'll just stick with try and tested z96

get some Westcotts you can get a simple set with 2 tripods 2 softboxes and 2 x 500w bulbs (2 x 250w if your in Canada) the bulbs last a couple months with a good amount of use on them.

How about a comparison between these and a set of cheapo ones from ebay? You can get like a 96-LED light from there for about 20 quid cheaper. Would be interested to see if the performance could stand up to this brand model.

A bit too expensive for me I'm afraid. After watching this I think I will invest in a couple of 100 watt tungsten light bubs for a pound from the pound shop.
