Great review. I personally avoid Zinio, because it basically give you hyperlinked, scanned PDFs and calls them 'digital magazines'. There's not a whole lot of interactivity, unlike Wired and Popular Science magazines.

Does the magazine only scroll pages from side to side? I hate the magazines that scroll in both directions! BTW Do you find your ipad crashing out of apps a lot, including those that come with it? Mine has been doing it a fair bit, even after resetting and upgrades to the OS. :(

Not rude at all, when I am making some videos I get the magazine for free to demonstrate a feature. With MacUser magazine, as I say in the video it is the only one I subscribe to and pay for. In fact, I think I have all paper issues back to issue two somewhere.

Out of curiosity are the pages on digital devices the same as the printed magazine I wonder if they have to produce one magazine for print and then again one for digital?
