Get the Mark 3. you can't go wrong with 63 focus points versus like 11 or 9 on the mark 2. (correct me anyone if I am wrong)

BUT WILL IT BLEND
sangettzuku Says:
Now I'm not afraid to carry a DSLR!
rorrt Says:
Looks pretty cool. I think i'll stick with shooting film. Film is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much cheaper than digital.
justifiedwrath Says:
Sensor size plays a bigger factor than your typical megapixel count. The size of this camera's sensor is probably half the size of the Nokia... That's right the phone itself not just the sensor.
aadesh7 Says:
what about the new NOKIA (not nikon:)) pure view 808 - 41 freaking mega pixelssss!!!!
relationalself Says:
full 35mm frame, no crop shit
musguelha14 Says:
And now we have the D800 at 36mp and even the D3200 with 24mp!
pgice Says:
so you still think the Mark 2 is king of the hill?.im getting that camera as a upgrade to my 60D in a month..sounds good!..what do you think the Mark 2 has that makes it so great?
JogBird Says:
you could get 3 Nikon D800e for that price
Nordlicht05 Says:
dont think a high end lense will be in a Phone ! :D ;)
akshay7530 Says:
Looks like it's a lot sooner than that, nokia 808 has a 41mp sensor (38mp effective). Still nowhere near a dslr :P
maximumdosile Says:
more than twice the res mate, horses for courses.
SpeedFreakNO Says:
I do know why larger sensors have an easier time dealing with noise, it's quite common knowledge. I don't see why you say that though, I just said they're even in the noise department as far as the 645D goes with ISO.
Tehn00bifierer Says:
Yes, it's a different filter type, but it does not do what the standard LPF does. therefore it is disregarded as an actual LPF as it works out to allowing more light in. DXO just deemed this camera above the 645D. You can argue with whats on paper, but in the end it's the picture itself that ultimately decides whos the winner. ISO standards are way way way different, if you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that the larger sensor has an easier time with noise.
SpeedFreakNO Says:
I have done my research. The filter assembly is there, it just works differently. If you're going to correct people, do proper research: robgalbraith (dot) com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=7-11674-12304 The sensor in the D800 is only better in dynamic range, not the rest of the tests as the ISO, just compare them, with the D4 as well, the 3 cameras are pretty much even up to ISO 1600, which is the max on the 645D. The ISO values Nikon provides aren't correct, as the graphs show.
Tehn00bifierer Says:
D800E has NO AA....What are you talking about? A "weaker filter"? Do your research, and D800E already DXO Marked, passed this camera.

Hasselblad H4D-200MS vs Leaf Aptus-II 12R????
drouleau Says:
It's a good camera for the price (although the sensor is cropped a bit at 44mm x 33mm compared to 54mm x 40mm of "full frame" MF) , but the 1/125 sync speed makes it somewhat worthless in the studio.
KingCast65 Says:
And how big will your sensor be?
MrEagle912 Says:
nope, u get normal 38mp 34mp 8mp 5mp or 3mp or with a pure view mode u get 8 5 or 3 mp photos which have in 1mp=7mp
dolmandabean Says:
40mp coming out on a nokia phone... will never compete with an slr in my opinion
ftpaddict Says:
You get a 5 megapixel still image.
MrEagle912 Says:
i know u get 38MP
