I wouldnt advise you to do that since the HP ZR2740,HP ZR2740w,HP DreamColor,Nec MultiSync PA271W the Dell UltraSharp series, etc. are way better monitors.

is it not just better to save 2-300 quid and buy a good TV with PC input or a monitor the looks can be matched by the Samsung rose red displays and the resolution isn't much good for anything furthur than photo editing anyway. 1920x1080 should surfice especially as already mentioned for 300 quid less, just another example of an overpriced apple product, mist likely manufactured by Samsung as well that's the funny part. good video though.

Good review. It coasts just Little to much for me. If it was around the £500 pounds mark I would pick one up but at nearly a grand for a monitor with Thunderbolt connectivity I think not. I will just have to do without for now.
