Hi, 0masdelo! Is any other menus work? I think it has problem on the menu. You need to go a Samsng A/S center. I couldn't give you any tips for you. Good luck!

i just got the Samsung R10 .. an excellent compact Full HD video camera imo, i am very happy with it .. (still having issues with the CL65's gps thought) .. oh well : )
APrintezis Says:
as far as i know (and i just checked again right before posting this) there is no firmware upgrade for the CL65 yet. you can go to samsung's website and do a keyword search for "firmware", it will take you the firmware/software page, select photography->compact->cl65 and it should be there (but i didn't find anything yet).
0masdel0 Says:
hey how to upgrade the firmware ? thank you

I have bought st 1000 camera since six months ago. in general, this camera is a great camera, however, at this time I had a problem with the back and the scene menu button. The buttons are not working (like disabled), I do not know which part damaged is, whether the touch screen (but the display set button works fine - the set button location and back button are in the same location), firmware, or others. I have reset the camera but it didn't help. What should I do? Thank you in advance

correction "most"

another update: i got the more ridiculous response from Samsung support when i asked for the GPS problem. they said - try using new batteries !! LOL !! .. not that it's not a good idea but please .. anyway .. no firmware update to address that issue yet from them, they said that "they will let me know when something becomes available" .. 'roit .. i may even still have the camera by then .. oh well !!
APrintezis Says:
.. well then .. isn't carma a biotch? L O L !!! never sell to your friends at higher prices again : )) .. well, what can i say, it seems that you did something to it while resetting - no idea what but it's not the GPS. Maybe this camera is just too finicky overall with all this extra hardware (Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, Touchscreen, HD Video, Bar-code Scanner, Microwave oven) .. it's just too much for everything to work i guess : (
APrintezis Says:
not a sony fan myself .. but did you even use the GPS at high elevation? i never have any problems with it below say 7000 ft ..
dantegf Says:
CONTINUING - I tried everything, I reset the camera numerous times, and tried everything literally, it just doesnt find an access point, if freezes before that!I've searched the web no firmware update, I'm thinking about taking it back and getting my money back.
dantegf Says:
I have a similar problem, but it's not with the GPS, I recently bought the Samsung cl 65 on the bh store in NYC, I configured it and used it fine including the Wi-Fi, even connected on home share etc.. I for once reset the camera because a friend of mine wanted to buy it from me for a higher price than I bought it, then he backed down, so I had to reconfigure it again, as I tried to configure WIFI, the camera totally freezes when it's searching for a signal.
tomynator Says:
I have no problem with GPS...LOL Actually Samsung digital camera is much better than Sony! I had two Sony before. It had so many problems and Sony customer service sucks. they don't fix my camera and charged money. Fuck Sony
APrintezis Says:
PROBLEM WITH GPS: Hi everyone, i am constantly experiencing a problem with the GPS in this camera. Every time i am on high elevations (on mountains for example) at 5-6 thousand ft or higher, just when the GPS is about to get a satellite fix and turn green, the camera totally freezes and the only way to reset or turn it off it to take the battery out !! This is very frustrating - since the main reason i went with this camera was the GPS. Anyone else has the same problems??
AdamKaoru Says:
Agreed. Sony uses the shittiest lenses, and their touch camera UI REALLY sucks.
