If you want to get on the track for cheap, try "Nascar Thunder 2003" for the gamecube. Quite arguably the best Nascar game out there! You can buy a used gamecube console and controller for about $35.00 at any gamestop store and nascar thunder for about $6.00 You can also find them on e-bay for around the same price. NT 2003, awesome deal, awesome game! Also available for x-box and ps2

NASCAR 2011 is definitely the more "arcadey" of the two. It has changed hands between EA Sports to Activision. And we all know how much experience Activision has with sports titles..........
