If you use your ears instead of your eyes, you'll notice that there is no bass on this song...

If this is anything like the other songs that are going to be on the next album, then I think I have a good idea of what my album of the year might be.
zachesherman Says:
Who is doing bass? Scott just has his hands in his pockets and is staring at his bass!
AllLolz Says:

fate5566 Says:
sounds like a demo song, some thing like "keep it upstairs" or "blank slate" that is going to grow into a bigger song.

I think their best albums so far are Boxer Alligator and Virginia EP, but we all agree that they dont have a single bad song X)
MagmaWalrus Says:
I'm glad I could help :) they're both great songs. They're very different too, despite the guitar.
jeppe1208 Says:
Not quite as good as "Rylan" in my opinion, but still exquisite.. Even something like this, that in the sound of anyone else would be a cliché, sounds so incredibly heartfelt and honest when sung by Matt.

It's too late to apologize .... it's tooooo laaaaaate
underorangesky Says:
Thank you for saying so! I knew the guitar sounded familiar but I couldn't place it! I'm so glad I came on YouTube to see if someone posted about the similarity. I really like both these songs.
