Got to love it when companies cheap out and use crap capacitors, i guess its where they can make more money from you if they used crap capacitors then known good ones.

Also check the solder connections on components, especially in the power supply, to prevent further damage!

@regionfree1 I have your tv, your problem, when I try to turn mines on, the light will turn red to green but immediately go out.
jasimatiyeh Says:
I have the same exact tv and the same problem. I replaced the capacitors but it still didnt work. Any ideas?
AutobahnSHO Says:
LTRC: You have to know how to solder first, carefully take the TV apart (screws EVERYWHERE!) and you'll see the powerboard. The black cylinders with silver tops are the capacitors, if they are leaking or bulged up a little they are bad. Maybe if you take the TV apart and carefully take the powerboard to a local tv repairshop they wouldnt charge too much to just replace them for you. (most of the time is dissassembly/reassembly.)
LTRCProductions2010 Says:
@AutobahnSHO i have the same problem with my TV and how can i see a video or how do i fix or install the capacitors?
AutobahnSHO Says:
Took the TV apart, cost me $10 to buy two new capacitors and fix it. (got robbed at the local TV shop, but I didn't want to wait for them in the mail...)
