I shan't go into too much detail, but yes. I've been putting off upgrading for a few years now & the D4 would suit my needs perfectly. I'm still looking into the D800 at the moment but am leaning further towards the D4.

are you good enough with lower spec camera? in order to really make use of the best features in this camera you have to be really advanced. Your average photographer won't make better pictures with this camera, than say a lower spec. I'd much rather spend the money on some proper lens. Its not just the camera, pros can make really nice photos even with entry level dslr, its more about how you shoot now what you're shooting with. If you're really good then go for D4

I'm not a rich kid.. I bought a D7000 a few months back, I earn £1000 a month & save most of it.. If I were to sell my D7000 along with the battery grip, extra battery & a couple of lenses, I could afford a D4 + Nikon 24-70mm... If you're capable of managing your expenses in income, it's not an unreasonable price. Quit whining & start saving.

I got the D7000 and didn't like the low light noise it produced, So I got the D700 which blows it out of the water, This is where i'm at, no need for more so i'll now invest into good lenses so far I've 50mm F1.4 & 24-70 F2.8!!
