I need help. i just need to remove the TOP cabinet. Di I still have to remove the sides for that or simply removing the 5 screws is enough? The top has only 2 screws in the front, 2 in the back and 1 on top. The shutter side seems to came off but the other side where the big knob on the left side (M, P, AV, TV etc) doesn't want to give... I also know that the whole thing that is on the top housing comes apart all together in one piece as everything is attatched . What Am I doing wrong? Thanks.

hi there. im in need of a little help. my 7d lcd display isnt working and i cant view anything at all. every function works properly so think of it as a dslr but with film haha. i have a replacement screen and am about to attempt a swap. i just havent found much resources to help with me the process. any help would be greatly appreciated. cheers

This is cool. I've often though about striping down my gadgets to repair them but when I see the mass of tiny screws and parts in videos like this is puts me off :-)
