I don't know if you'll ever get to answer this, but One time I was filming something, and all sound was gone. I couldn't hear anything from it. It didn't make any noise except when I turned it on or off. It's like it was muted.

I hate the pop out usb connecter I dont have a lap top just a desktop computer so the usb connecter isnt long enough to fit in the usb import to edit my videos or put them on youtube

Yes, it takes photos. The photo's have to be taken very still for good quality though.
