Less megapixels on a full frame sensor (or any sensor for that matter) means less pixel density, which translates to better low light performance.

16MP is max for full frame or else you will get noise in high ISO images!! Its a perfect sensor for that sensor size!! If canon gets 24 MP they will be useless for sharp and low iso shots! Whoever wants 30MP go buy a medium format size DSLR

The finish on the plastic at the back looks terrible. LIke it has spots which have been covered up with black paint! (Wouldn't say no to one though!)
