Both about the same image results, but this is a lot smaller. A55 is probably better featured.

It is a shame, but this is for photography, video is there because consumers now expect it.

Real shame. I know this ones main purpose is for taking photos but since it can record up to 1080p that also makes it a video recorder and considering this is one of the full price cameras they should include a microphone input. What do you think?

WoW, 16MP Sensor & Flip Out screen, Awesome, As you probably remember i just got the Panasonic G10, This is the first time i have ever owned a camera of this type before, Feel's so much better than a bridge camera at that. Can't wait to see some footage & Pictures of course from this little stunner :)
