Well that's fine; different strokes for different folks, but most of the "civilized" world prefer their beef to be medium rare, not dried out and tough. But the point is you tried to claim he doesn't know anything about grilling, and he obviously does. He *wanted* to make that steak medium rare.

I'm a civilized man, not a lion or a wolf so I don't eat raw meat. But if somebody has relish for it... he can do it, it's not my business.

This guy is an executive chef for Morton's the Steakhouse... have you ever eaten at one? Their steaks are AMAZING and out of this world. They are pretty much legendary in the reputation for having steaks that are off the charts awesome. I think it's safe to say that this guy knows what he is talking about. As for the red center, that is how a medium rare steak is supposed to look like.

And, by the way, there are millions all over the world who use this language much worse than me. Inside of some decades, English will totally split up because of the fact that its users don't really care the grammatical rules and they accomodate it to their native languages. So there's nothing to talk about.

I'm italian, italians are the best cookers in the world, THAT ISN'T THE WAY HOW TO COOK A STEAK. If there are flames under the steak it will be burned and it will taste awful. And the pepper has to be putted on the steak after the cooking otherwise it will taste bitter.
