$1699 is way beyond what i want to spend
simozonelayer Says:
I held one the other day there and although it looks nice and feels nice in the hands, the manual focus ring concept on the lenses is horrendous, it keeps turning and turning like my GF1. That and the hybrid VF poking me in the eye totally killed it for me.

Dear Jordan, I was wondering if you found the (comparatively slow) AF fustrating at all during low light/night shooting? Or was it adequate? Many thanks in advance.
xiaoquan Says:
@designvirtual Any lens that is not E mount will need a adapter to shoot. And it's manual focus, you should know it.

I'm on the fence, choosing between the X-Pro 1 and the OM-D. Chris - thoughts on this? Review of the OM-D soon?
sacredgeometry Says:
Thats what i was going to post :D
ImperatorPenguinius Says:
It still kind of works like a rangefinder, save for the focusing, which is where the name comes from. But the part that makes rangefinders the best tools for street shooting is still there - namely the viewfinder that doesn't black out and shows what's going on outside the frame. Also the body styling and size. So no, it's technically not a rangefinder, but in practice it kind of is. Kind of. The best parts of it anyway.

in the raw or jpg files?

Hi I actually like the quality of the film it looks very movie like. And with the EV range and low light performance. How is the rolling shutter?

@ 0:58 I love how he swings the camera to the left while holding it just by the lens!

amoxintubeu Says:
What about this x-pro1 and a new OMD? Which one is better in terms of image quality?
designvirtual Says:
So the Nex7 will be my option, but I still have a doubt, to use an old lens like 50mm f/1.4 zuiko, do I need any kind of adaptor for Sony or it's just attach and start to shot? thanks
TheCameraStoreTV Says:
The X-Pro1 has better low light performance, and the primes are better quality than any of the Sony NEX primes (except the 24mm F1.8 Zeiss). However the Sony has much better video, and is a better camera if you plan to use other brand's lenses with an adaptor. Personally, I find the X-Pro1 more fun to shoot, but if I could only have one camera for video and stills, I'd probably go NEX-7. Jordan @ The Camera Store TV
designvirtual Says:
What's your opinion, which one it's the best? X-Pro1 or Sony Nex 7.
TheDrocadile Says:
I really want this camera now. Dammit.
TheCameraStoreTV Says:
It is actually quite a bit better than the 5D Mark II, absolutely. Jordan @ The Camera Store TV
OMGitsSammyH Says:
You could of upped the iso a little more, from sample images, the noise performance from the fuji X-pro 1 is actually better than the canon 5d mark II

God! What an exhausting reviewer. Back off on the coffees please! As for the camera. Gorgeous! I'll have one with a zoom lens please (24-100).
underarmlick Says:
YES. There is a dedicated button. Same with the X-100. Although the jpg output is so good I stick with jpg on my X-100.
