0:01 Evil person becomes king 0:20 Slowly leads his first group of noble soldiers into another room and makes them mindless in his plan to make more become mindless. 0:37 Montage of various heroes across the kingdom rising up knowing who the king really is and what he's planning and arming their weapons and armor to make a stand.

LegendSw0rd Says:
There is one point though, the Empire doesn't have a clue about the culture of the province they're ruling. General Tullius doesn't know that the Nords go to Sonvgarde, and many Legates at the imperial camps say '...the Nord kings, I mean Jarls...'. Not only this, but they're also trying to change the culture too, make it more like Cyrodiil... But still I'll give the Empire storyline a go on one of my spare characters just for shits lol.

LOL

I just read this entire conversation............WTF? I just saw the word Skyrim, decided to read it and was completely bamboozled by all these names and shtuff.
tfl1997 Says:
Also, the Empire doesn't have much to rule. They're more like guardians. They leave ruling stuff to the Jarls and High King/High Queen. Only if a land needs military support they call in the Empire. You should try the Empire storyline once :)
LegendSw0rd Says:
Alright, you have definitely shown me the Empire isn't all that bad, but I still think Skyrim should be independant, and not have some Imperials ordering them about and taking away their customs. Besides, I have already completed the Stormcloak storyline already lol... But I do think that next time I see people who are pro-Empire, I think I can see now that there is some reason behind it :P
MacAppleFreak Says:
On my channel there is a HQ/Full-HD version of this song
tfl1997 Says:
wasn't Tullius' intention XD it was the captain that said you went to the block, so it's her fault. Tullius is actually a nice guy :P plus, u can always go with Ralof but still join the Empire... if u join Ralof u kill that captain that ordered ur execution :)
LegendSw0rd Says:
That may be so, but I refuse to serve somebody who tried to decapitate me for no real reason lol...

Well, actually... Banning the Talos worship was more of a distraction. Their best agents and thus, mages, are out there trying to arrest ppls that still worship Talos. They ain't gnna stop anytime soon and they can easily get killed cz they're seperated. Empire wants another Great War, but Ulfric is only slowing the process down. Banning the Talos Worship is buying time. Plus, if the Empire didn't accept the White-Gold Concordat, Skyrim woulda been gone ages ago.
LegendSw0rd Says:
By allowing the ban of Talos and letting the Thalmor roam where they please and abduct people, I think the Empire has basicly let them win. As Vignar once said 'We should be fighting those witch-elves, not bending knee to them!' :P Although your comment has shown me your cause is not so bad, I still think Ulfric's cause helps Skyrim more. I played Oblivion before Skyrim came out, and I see the Empire was good once upon a time but it's going through bad times and needs a reminder of how to rule.
tfl1997 Says:
Trololololol :P Well, actually, the Empire has the best reason for fighting. They are actually preparing for ANOTHER war with the Aldmeri Dominion. Ulfric is only hindering them. And if you go into the Thalmor Embassy, you also see that Ulfric is pretty much a slave of the Elves, that plan to destroy the Empire in Skyrim. So basically, if you choose Stormcloaks, you'll get Skyrim completely fucked up later. You choose Empire, you probably save Skyrim together with a few other lands.
LegendSw0rd Says:
Then you realised you made an even bigger mistake and join the Stormcloaks again...
