I hate to break it to you guys but THX certification doesn't mean anything, other than the speakers will be more expensive because of licensing costs. Also loud does NOT equal good, Logitechs are notorious for having a boomy sub that drowns out everything else. Look for Klipsch Promedia 2.1, might have to get used ones because they are hard to find but they will be much better than anything made by Logitech.
