Recently I did some work on "Ender's Game" (still filming), and I saw a guy with literally a black box with a lens sticking out of it. He would occasionally open the box (for film, I guess?) then close it back. I have seen these before, but this time in person. Anyone know what he was/what he was using?

Yep, loads of people say that nikon is shit at video, but in actual fact it pretty decent quality if you have decent settings and a good camera man behind the camera! I have a nikon d3100 to film video and only for video, and short films that I've produced have looked very professional with amazing video quality! SOME people don't know what they're talking about, its always the person behind the camera that makes the mass the difference!
