But it is. Nikon originated as Nippon Kōgaku Kōgyō Kabushikigaisha. Note the first part, it is Nippon NOT Nyeppon. Hence the correct pronunciation Nikon NOT Nyekon.
BrandonKingVloggin Says:
It's a lot closer to the correct pronunciation than the American pronunciation is.
TheMrmagic640 Says:
IT'S NOT NICKON!!!!
ShonenStyle Says:
So all i need to do, is get a car... than i sell the car, so i buy this little piece of organs... simple plan let do this! Kidding im still paying for my Nikon D7000, but next year if everything is going as i think it will i gonna this *--------*
randallpaulcom Says:
After a while unless you have amazing budgets you will get fantastic results out of your earlier DSLRs above 8 MP. So at US $6k+ I am afraid I would take a big pass at this being a Nikonian for 25 years and that also includes the Canon 5D Mark III way over priced. Invest in lenses is my advise.
kamvinci87 Says:
and im a bit confused of your term "similar spec"?
kamvinci87 Says:
this is like saying why buy a car when i can use bike for transportation
ladyXtramp Says:
anyone buying organs?
Sinwori Says:
horrible background music!
RCHelios1 Says:
now only thing i need is to win a lotery
flahman Says:
im betting it'll be over $10,000 here in Oz when it's released. Nothing like ripping the arse out of us here... in saying that... i'd probably still buy it... lol
Zackarydoo Says:
@juanjillocr Oh grow up. I made a sensible comment that the D4 is not 4000 quid better, that's all. LOL and more LOL, as the children like to say.
juanjillocr Says:
Lol, so you're comparing your D7000 with the new D4? Lol and more lol
Zackarydoo Says:
Crazy high cost. I have the D7000 and the spec is similar. So you're paying an extra £4K for FX.
thecastman97 Says:
the music is going to be future elevator music smh
MYTRB Says:
Put it this way, put 10 of these cameras in front of you and choose between that and a brand new ski-boat. I know which i'd prefer!
johnnyass68 Says:
over 5000 €.for 99% of users to expensive and to big,and to useless..... I WANT MY D 800..NOW ;o)
BrandonKingVloggin Says:
it's usually cheaper in the states or Hong Kong. I live in Australia and the prices are based (from what I see) on the UK prices. Except for one store. And I agree. My hands feel empty without a D4 haha
jansanlim Says:
£4800 in UK. Might as well get it in the state for $5999. Anyway either one i still can't afford it. Back to my dreamland, with my brand new D4s.
upiluften Says:
@PhotoCanonPS Oh, didn't know.. just a casual comment. I suppose you do make a good point, after all.. Nikon SLR users around my campus are all fine and dandy until I come along with my Canon SLR.
asaquon Says:
Very annoying background music. TURN IT OFF,,, I can't hear the commentary!
Rehabilitator Says:
What did you have to give the devil to get that badboy?
QuantumSmart Says:
